Koh Phaluai is the largest of the 42 islands, within Angthong National Marine Park. Map Due south of Koh Wua Talap, where the park office is located, Koh Phaluai's eastern shore has possibly the best example of mangrove forest to be found in the park.
This forest type is important as a breeding area for hundreds of species of fish.
